Aham Brahmasmi - Tat Tvam Asi

Alone in my life-boat
so far, I keep afloat.
But, a bit lost, for sure,
so far from the foreshore.
I'm out on the ocean,
moved by emotion.
Setting my direction -
my compass - compassion.
Not drowning, but waving,
I still needing saving;
throw me a life-line and
I'll land on your island;
then we walk on the sand;
this, you please understand,
may be metaphorical,
but may be littoral.
